Let it be known that the world, in God's time, will be His New Kingdom.

With that, is it, i.e. opting to be with the worldly rather than with the faithful, a betrayal of the Christian's great commission? Doesn't it intensify the need for us to be in the fields than in the confines of the church? Isn't it too that we have our own fields to sow, meaning not everyone is called to church work? Some are called to give service to the poor, some to the rich, some to the educated while some to the illiterate.

In pursuit of our respective calling, we need training. Certainly, we can't get that in bible schools alone or any educational institution. That would not suffice. We need to experience life freely but responsibly.

It is a pity that some people have been blinded as brought by habit-- getting used to an environment and regard everything in it as the truth. It is a pity that some think that religiosity is synonymous to one's personal relationship with Christ. Brothers and sisters, I can be a hermit but much closer to Him than the manang who daily prays the rosary, or the tenor who sings in the church choir, or the bible study leader who lectures thrice a week.

There is only one supreme absolute unchanging truth. He is Christ and He alone shall judge us in the end.
