Close your eyes and reminisce...
Hum the song that hits you right in your heart
and picture the sun as it paints the canvas sky;
dance as the ripples of the ocean sway
and just blend in with the grains of sand,
losing oneself, for once, and be ordinary.
Consume all the sickening air
and with one big gulp, swallow the unreasonable fear
that blocks all senses to move forward.
Shun the suspicious whispers that cry out loud
which compress and reduce you to a definition of sort.
Now, open your eyes with the flames of phoenix.
Then, catch your breath with the purest air.
We are all in this war but each one has his own battle to win.
