peace and contentment

"...Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-
if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things.
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me or seen in me-
put it into practice.
And the God of peace will be with you...
... I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation,
whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
I can do everything through him who gives me strength."(NIV)
Philippians 4: 5-13
Let us be reminded (most specially me) of these Words
if we feel anxious about the path we're pursuing or we plan to chase.
Let us pray for contentment in trying times like this
but it shouldn't refrain us from asking Him
the desires of our hearts.

hey, God is good, remeber that always... at times when we can't feel Him working in our lives, i doesn't mean he had forsaken us. and it doesn't give us an excuse to act less of a Christian. and you are correct, we should never be anxious. we should put all our faith in Him that He is doing the best for us not in out timing but in His perfect time. whatever we have now is not ours but His. we can't demand, we can only ask for it from Him and everything will be given to us through grace.
just like that of a child's faith, all we need to do is believe.
