Disputing the 'Good Friday'

25 March 2005

I don't exactly know why we call this day 'GOOD'. Most (including me) may say that this day is boring-- malls are closed, TV stations are signed off (if not broadcasting a so-so Pinoy pelicula or running a marathon of a foreign tv series), and everybody just feels like sleeping.

I don't agree that it's GOOD.

As the Christian community remembers the day when the greatest love was sacrificed, the world becomes a boring place. On the other hand, heaven is full of joy in Christ's victory.

Again, I don't agree that we should call this day 'GOOD'...
It's an understatement.
Why not, SUPERB Friday instead?!
